Dr. Ann Blue
Dr. Ann Blue and her amazing team each have 15+ years of expertise in the specialty of Periodontics. We thank you for allowing us to participate in your journey to oral health and are dedicated to making you as comfortable as possible in the process. You and your healthy smile are our passion!
Education/Accreditation
Dr. Blue is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, thus achieving the highest level of recognition and certification for dental specialists in the fields of periodontology, implantology and oral plastic surgery and has practiced in the Valley for over 20 years. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego. She obtained her dental degree from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. Following her general dental training, she moved to Dallas, Texas to earn her Certificate of Periodontology and a M.S. in Oral Biology at Baylor College of Dentistry-TAMUS. Dr. Blue is a past Assistant Director and Clinical Instructor at Baylor and taught both undergraduate dental students and graduate residents. She also has lectured both internationally and locally, here in the Valley.
Dr. Blue is very active in local and national dental societies; her current service positions include the American Dental Association Council on Communications, President-Elect for the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation (AZMOMs), Central Arizona Dental Association Trustee, Arizona Delegate to the American Academy of Periodontology, past-President of the Central Arizona Dental Society and many more!
Dr. Blue has been featured in Phoenix Magazine’s Top Dentists and has been inducted into the honor dental societies of America College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. She also is passionate about serving Arizonans statewide including our Veterans in need of dental care through her planning and volunteering at charitable AZMOMs events as well as testifying in front of our state Senate advocating for legislation to protect the health of our pregnant mothers and their unborn babies.

Dr. Ann has a full personal life, too; she is married to her husband (Dr. Dan who is a orthodontist/prosthodontist and has three children in elementary, middle and high school. The Blues enjoy living an active lifestyle and are passionate about volunteering to provide dental care for those in need and in Boy and Girl Scouts, their church and school activities. When not busy with her family or her practice (a rare occurrence these days), she also enjoys cooking/baking (as evidenced by all the cookbooks in her office), hiking, biking and running 5ks/half marathons and can be seen at many local Valley races.
